With its rich natural
resources, Indonesia has developed its Agro industry
especially rubber. Indonesia known as the second
largest rubber producer in the world. North
Sumatra, a province in Indonesia, has the perfect
environment for the growing of good quality rubber
trees. Its plantations are some of the finest
in the world. It is the raw material, which allows
many factories to produce various rubber products.
One of them is PT. Shamrock Manufacturing Corporation.
Shamrock Manufacturing Company U.S. is the U.S.
Sales and Marketing Office for PT. Shamrock Manufacturing
Corporation, a totally integrated company of glove
production, from raw material to finished product.
PT. Sri Rahayu Agung,
rubber plantation is located in Galang, 40 kilometers
from Medan, the capital of North Sumatra Province
manages the 68,000-acre plantation area.
PT. Separindo Hevea Nusantara, centrifuge factory
is located in Aek Kanopan, 220 kilometers from
Medan, turns 6,000 tons of field latex into 3,000
tons of concentrated latex per month.
PT. Shamrock Manufacturing Corporation, latex
and nitrile gloves manufacturing plant, the largest
of three factories, is located in Medan.
PT. Maja Agung Latexindo, latex gloves manufacturing
plant, specialized in surgical and other sterile
gloves, located in Sunggal.
PT. Tata Rubberindo, latex gloves manufacturing
plant, located in Jakarta.
Shamrock Manufacturing
produces gloves for some of the top Importers
throughout North and South America, Europe and
