Quality System Certified factories. Product quality,
reliability, compliance with USFDA Good Manufacturing
Practices plus guaranteed delivery, provides you with

- Shamrock's
exam gloves are regularly submitted to independent
laboratories for testing to ensure the highest quality
standard. These tests include:
- Modified
Lowry Test - the most common test for determining
protein levels in latex gloves. However, the test
is particularly vulnerable to interference from
chemical substances added by manufacturers.
- LEAP
Method - ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent) assays
that use antibodies to quantitate protein. Since
this test uses antibodies, it is very sensitive
and specific.
- Viral
Penetration Study - (adapted from ASTM F-1671)
to evaluate the viral penetration resistance characteristics
of protective clothing materials against bloodborne
pathogen hazards. The bloodborne pathogens of
major concern are the hepatitis B virus (HBV),
hepatitis C (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus
(HIV).
